Science Olympiad is scheduled to meet in the morning on March 10 in Room B222.
Sponsor Fran Rushing said, “We had a competition on Feb. 25 at Butler. The teams did very well and we essentially came in second behind Bloomington North High School, so we get to go to State on March 24 at IU.”
Rushing also said, “(the members) are just working on everything. We had to narrow it down to 15 students from 80, because we can only take 15 to State. We didn’t do very well on the robot arm or the rocks and minerals events, so we’ll try to improve on that. The other events we did fairly well on with first, second, and third in most events.”
