The next Aperture Club activity will be “around a week after break,” according to Conner Gordon, Aperture Club president and senior. He said for the workshop, the members will go to downtown Carmel or Indianapolis.
When they go downtown, he said they will work on taking candid photographs of people. For now, Gordon said he will forgo present meetings and instead continue with workshops and activities online.
“We are going to work on contests through our Facebook group,” Gordon said.
As for the club’s future, he said next year it will probably continue and will likely be small, which he said is both a good and a bad thing. He said, however, the people who are involved with the club are happy and passionate about what they do.
When asked about his role in the club, sponsor Jim Streisel said, “I try not to give too much input. It’s the students’ club and I want them to participate and feel comfortable in the group setting.”
