DECA members will participate in the DECA international competition from April 22 to May 2 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
According to DECA sponsor Janice Brown, the format of the competition will be very similar to that of the state competition, which took place in March.
“They should continue to prepare in the same way they did for the state competition. They should continue meeting with businessmen and discussing their business plans. They should work, refine and continue to build upon their knowledge,” Brown said.
Elliott Browning, DECA member and senior, said he has been preparing for the international competition.
“I’ve been meeting with Nick Muller (DECA member and senior) outside of school to study. We’ve been reviewing and taking practice tests,” Browning said.
