Share the Music Club is scheduled to host a benefit concert March 23. According to Sunhee Han, club president and senior, club members will provide a performance for the community. All proceeds will benefit Third Phase, a local clothing and food pantry, according to Han.
“Share the Music is all about giving back to the community through music,” Han said. “So this concert is a new way for us to reach out.”
According to faculty sponsor James Woomert, Share The Music Club members perform for the community on a regular basis. Members sign up for specific time slots on the club’s website and perform with their friends.
“We get out and perform for the community,” Woomert said. “We try to bring all these people together to meet and have an opportunity to perform.”
