Speech team plans to meet on Jan. 15 in Room E149 to review what happened at the meet on Jan. 10 and work on scripts for the next competition, according to sponsor Jacleen Joiner.
“My job right now is to make sure everyone is getting prepared for our meets in the spring,” Joiner said.
Club members continue to better their public speaking abilities, including freshman Hannah Paul. “The best way to succeed in meets is to keep practicing your material at home,” Paul said. According to Paul, club members just need to take a couple of minutes out of their day to revise their script, and they will do great in competitions.
Joiner said, “Our main focus is to better ourselves for meets.”
