Chemistry Club members plan to take the Chemistry Olympiad on March 28, according to club sponsor Virginia Kundrat.
Ryan Jou, club president and junior, said the exam will take place at 8:30 a.m. at Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School.
“Chemistry Olympiad is an exam that people can take. The top few winners can possibly get scholarships, and you (can) go on from the local level to the national level and then so on,” Jou said.
He also said the U.S. national exam will take place in April, for those who qualify.
According to Jou, the club does not plan to do any more demonstrations at elementary schools for the rest of the semester.
