Teen Library Council (TLC) applications are due on May 31st. The TLC is a youth group that meets monthly at the Carmel Clay Public Library (CCPL). Applications can be found online or in the young adult desk at the CCPL.
Jamie Beckman, young adult librarian at the CCPL, said that students who love reading should apply for the TLC.
“The Carmel Clay Public Library is looking for teens to help promote books and reading,” Beckman said.
According to Jake Patterson, junior and employee of the CCPL, getting involved at the CCPL is very important.
“Teens should get more involved in volunteering for the library because the library is a very important resource for all students,” Patterson said.
