French club officers are scheduled to meet Dec. 3 to plan a crepe-eating contest and movie night for their final events in the first semester. Next semester, they will focus on recruiting more members.
French club president and junior Shahyon Niese said, “Most of our people are in marching band or some other out of school clubs, so we’re going to talk with them in the December meeting.” French club officers will clarify details about the final events of first semester on Dec. 3.
French club co-sponsor Lisa Carroll said, “Our numbers are dwindling, so we’re going to be doing more recruitment second semester.” French club needs more members in order to follow through with scheduled restaurant field trips. According to Niese, Officers plan to recruit students in lower level French classes.
Niese said, “We just go in and talk to other French classes about joining the club and what they could do.”
