The CHS Theater will perform its spring musical “Godspell” from May 12 to 15. According to director John Burlace, the show is a series of songs and moralistic stories taken from familiar Biblical references.
Sophomore Eric Bembenek plays the role of Judas in the musical and said, as one of the disciples that betray Jesus, is portrayed as a main antagonist.
“(People should come out to see the show) because the cast and crew and direction is going to be fantastic and it’s a great show with a good message,” Bembenek said.
“I am looking forward to watching the performers contribute to the creative process and develop their independence through collaboration on this project,” Burlace said via email. “Seeing their growth and getting to be a part of that at this level is so rewarding.”
