Bruce Wolf, Champions Together co-sponsor and assistant athletic director, reaches for his glasses as he looks through athletic awards. The club will host a Unified Basketball and Cheer Clinic Dec. 7.
Champions Together will conduct the Unified Basketball and Cheer Clinic during halftime of the varsity men’s basketball game on Dec. 7 at Noblesville.
Bruce Wolf, club co-sponsor and assistant athletic director, said, “(The clinic is) kind of a crowd favorite, so we like it.”
Their next meeting will be Dec. 5 during SRT in the community room.
A club committee will also meet during the second week of December to discuss the annual Mr. Carmel event. It will occur on March 8 next year, but there is not yet a set date for the committee meeting.
According to co-president and senior Emily Elzinga, they will meet to choose the boys to participate in the event.
Elzinga said, “A lot of times it’s hard to find a good meeting date because this is a big committee. It’s about 18 different people, so that’s 18 different schedules, so we have to find a good time.” By Angela Qian
