The Chess Club is scheduled to take club photos at 10:30 a.m. on Nov. 29 in the Varsity Gym.
The club will continue to play casual games until the second semester, when the club will begin preparations for the statewide chess tournament.
“I don’t really have to make a decision on who’s on what team until about January or February, so as of right now I’m just kind of getting a feel by playing each and every [member],” said president and senior Julian Knudson.
At that point, Knudson will start forming an A team and B team based on skill to send to the tournament, which is held in March.
The club meets every Monday in Room F106.
