The varsity women’s cross-country team placed first at the Riverview Health Invite on Sept. 19. The junior varsity team also won at North Central on Sept. 18.
Head Coach Andrew Dalton said the team is beginning to transition into the tournament season.
“We have a couple more weekends for the regular season and then we will enter into the tournament season on Oct. 10 for the State tournament for IHSAA. They (IHSAA) are going to keep it the same as far as we have been told so far, but we don’t know if any of the spectator rules will come up throughout the tournament,” Dalton said.

“Carmel is ranked very well in the state,” Hill said. “I expect that the tournament season will go very well for us.”
The team is preparing for their final regular season meet on Sept. 26.
