Elliott Shreve, cello player and freshman, discusses the upcoming concert with a friend. Shreve described the difficult rhythms in the music. “The rhythms in our parts are kind of challenging,” said Shreve. “(but) I think the notes and intonations (are) going well.”
The CHS orchestras are starting to prepare for their winter concert on Dec. 11 in the CHS auditorium. According to director of orchestras Thomas Chen, the students have started to work on the new pieces.
“We’re still early in the learning process of (the music),” said Chen. “Everyone’s getting a really good start to the music.”
Elliott Shreve, cello player and freshman, stated that the orchestras have been working through problems after school during rehearsal.
