According to Craig Maude, club activities officer and junior, Best Buddies will begin its fundraising drive next week.
“We’re going to set up tables at the lunches in order to raise money,” he said. “We’re hoping to reach our goal of $1000 to $1500.” He also said they will be taking donations and walking around at lunch collecting money in order to reach this goal.
The club is also planning its annual Best Buddies walk for the following spring, according to Ryann Hill, club member and senior.
“The date we’ve set for the walk is March 29,” she said, “and we’ve started making our plans for the event.”
