Comedy Sportz team wins final match, preparing for upcoming events

The Comedy Sportz team members had their final match of the season on April 13, defeating the team from Guerin High School.

Later in the year, team members will participate in an improvisation competition in Avon, IN and host Carmel’s Best Dance Crew. More information about these events will be available later.

According to club sponsor Jim Peterson, team members have been practicing normally at practice but went over the game “Five Things” more since it is one of the harder games.

Peterson said, “The team’s strength during the match was that it works well together and listens and reacts well. The team’s weakness was that it could use a little more experience.”

Bill Pfohl, team member and sophomore, said that his strengths are the musical games and having good characters, and his weakness is the game five things.

Pfohl said, “My favorite game of the season would have to be ‘Styles Replay.’ You take a scene and then add styles to it so it may turn into a horror scene or a soap opera scene. I like it because it’s really fun and can be really clever.”
