Comedy Sportz has started its season off and is preparing for the first home match of the year against Fishers that will take place on Feb. 15th at 7:30 p.m. in the Studio Theatre. The team is also preparing for their second exhibition match.
Sponsor Jim Peterson said, “It’s ironic actually because we will be having our exhibition match the day after our first home match.”
Bill Pfohl, Comedy Sportz member and junior, said he couldn’t wait for their first home match. He also said the team was practicing for the exhibition matches, which are coming up as well.
“Basically, we go downtown and have a practice or scrimmage with another team. It helps us prepare us for the real matches,” he said.
Pfohl also said he wanted to achieve some goals this season.
“I want to go undefeated this year. I know it sounds like a lot, but we have a good team and I know we can do it.”
