The Accents and Ambassadors are set to participate in a choral competition March 23 at Wapakoneta High School in Wapakoneta, Ohio. The performance marks the third and final competition of the choral competition season. According to choir teacher Lamonte Kuskye, the choirs will perform at approximately 2 p.m. The event was initially slated to be held at Edgewood High School, but was cancelled.

As Kuskye put it, “We were just fortunate to find another (school) that had space for us.” If not for the last-minute change, Carmel’s competition season would have lasted just a single week.
Ambassador and junior Ian Jones noted Kuskye’s assertion, and added that “it would have been way too short.” According to Jones, the amount of time choirs have been investing in practice has been “overwhelming.” However, despite looming March performances, Kuskye said the choirs are “way behind” in learning their numbers.
