The Carmel Swim Club (CSC) Triathlon will start on April 14, according to aquatics center director Kinsey Wallace. The triathlon will offer courses for youth (up to age 16) and adults. The entry fee is $65 for adults and $45 for youth, and participants can register online at GetMeRegistered.com.

The CSC offers a triathlon for athletes as a way to promote (the club’s) motto, ‘(Teaching excellence through) swimming for life,” Wallace said. Wallace said she hopes the triathlon will encourage children to look at swimming as a sport that they can practice outside of a high school environment.

I think a triathlon is a good way to get people interested in swimming,” Troy Li, Carmel swimmer and freshman, said.
