The Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA) will meet on  May 16 for the final time this semester. Nothing has been officially planned as of yet, but the main focus of the meeting will be on officer elections for the next school year, according to sponsor Jeremy Horner.

The process will consist of nominations from the group members, followed by the voting.

“It’s very low key since we only have three positions,” Horner said.

The group was unable to participate in this year’s National Day of Silence, contrary to what was originally thought, due to their lack of preparation.

“We missed Day of Silence, but with only like 16 more days I don’t know if we are actually going to do it or not,” said Taylor Farmer, vice president and junior. “But we talked about not doing it unless it was on the official day so that we could be ready.”
