Best Buddies to host Friendship Walk on April 14

Best Buddies is planning to host the Best Buddies Friendship Walk fundraiser on April 14, according to club sponsor Dana Lawrence. It will take place in downtown Carmel and will consist of a three-mile walk.

“We’re still deciding what time we’re going to start the walk. It’s on a Sunday, so we’ll probably start before noon,” Lawrence said.

All proceeds will go Best Buddies to fund upcoming parties and chapter meetings. “It helps pay for all the outings we have,” Lawrence said.

The next Best Buddies chapter meeting will be in the fieldhouse during both sessions of SRT on March 25, according to sophomore Abbey Wiggam. She said, “We’re expected to catch up with our buddy, do a craft and be active.”
