According to sponsor Sandy Gardner, Model U.N. will have its last meeting on April 30. The team members will decide what conferences they will attend next year.

“I want to have one student head each conference, so we’ll be deciding who will be doing that. We’ll also be doing some research on which ones we really want to go to. We’ve talked about going to Chicago, which is really big. But since some of the smaller ones may be better, we’ll decide after we discuss our options,” Gardner said.

Krishna Pathak, Model U.N. co-president and junior, also said that he wants to attend more conferences next year.

“Next year we hope to increase delegation size and attend conferences other than the Indianapolis one. We are still in consideration regarding admitting freshman to our team. However, this club is great for anyone who wishes to develop general debate skills, learning about current events along the way, all while meeting new people,” Pathak said.
