So far this school year, no students have expressed interest in continuing the Sew Unique Club, which has been in existence in past school years. Although nobody has stepped forward to start the club again, Judy Fisher, family and consumer science teacher, said she is willing to sponsor the club if students ask.
Should the club be created, members would meet in Room B168 after school and spend time sewing various projects of their choice.
According to Fisher, the Sew Unique Club would be open to anyone who has an interest in sewing.
Fisher also said she encourages students to join the club if or when it is formed. “Sew Unique Club is fun because of the students who join,” she said. “It’s fun to learn and improve on a skill that you will use throughout life, and it may turn into a passion.”
