In preparation for the Scholastic Chess of Indiana (SCI) state tournament in March, Julian Knudson, senior and president of Chess Club, continues to form tournament teams. The club will still accept non-members to add to tournament teams.
Each person attending will need a U.S. Chess Federation (USCF) membership, which allows people to view their international ranking against other chess players. Knudson will register all attending students for a membership when he registers teams.
Robert Holman, sponsor of the club, said he defers all decisions to students. By Riley TerBush
