As of now, the Carmel Electric Ensemble has yet to schedule their next rehearsal date. According to club president and sophomore, Jiwon “Katie” Yu, the club has taken a break since their winter concert.

The Carmel Electric Ensemble plans to start to promote the spring concert in May. According to Jiwon “Katie” Yu, club president and sophomore, ensemble practices have stopped and their next rehearsal is still to be scheduled.

According to club president and sophomore, Jiwon “Katie” Yu said the ensemble has yet to set their next rehearsal date. The club will have another concert in the spring at the Palladium, but the date for that is yet to be determined.

On Jan. 29, junior Alexis O’Brien went to a Trump protest at the Indianapolis International Airport to protest against the president’s executive order to temporarily ban immigrants from seven predominantly Muslim countries. O’Brien made a sign saying “We Love You,” in Arabic, French and English. She said that she doesn’t support Trump’s order because not all immigrants are terrorists and because the issue blocked some Americans who were returning back to the US from one of those countries.
