The 14th annual fashion show is scheduled to take place in the auditorium on May 13 during both sessions of SRT. Students must get an invitation from a fashion student if they want to attend the show. The invitation acts as a pass to get out of SRT. Parents are invited as well.
The show will feature clothes that the fashion and textiles students have made throughout the year.
Michelle Li, fashion and textiles student and junior, said, “Not many people wear what they have made in class to school, so itt’s a good way to show what they have made.”
The fashion show will also include a runway and a screen for the first time this year.
Department chairperson Brittany Wiseman said, “Before it would be just the stage, but now they have a runway and they are also going to have a screen. I call it the Project Runway screen because there’s a screen in the back. So, they are going to pose, and it’s going to be a shadow and they are going to come out, walk and come back.” By Claudia Huang
