WHJE will play music at the CHS Dance Marathon, a fundraising event benefitting Riley Children’s Hospital. It will be conducted in the CHS Freshman Cafeteria on Feb. 25. WHJE will play music during a line dance. House cabinet members and senators will learn the dance from the Indiana University Dance Marathon and share it with participants at the CHS Dance Marathon.
WHJE will play popular or funny songs along with small pieces of audio from popular movies and TV shows like “Jersey Shore.”
The music at the CHS Dance Marathon has attracted several people, according to radio teacher Brian Spilbeler.
“It’s pretty packed,” Spilbeler said.
Dance Marathon organizers like Hannah Blachly, House cabinet member and senior, say they believe participants will enjoy the music at the event.
“Everyone recognizes at least a few of the songs, so it’s a lot of fun for the participants to learn it,” Blachly said via email.
