According to Charlie Browning, Big Game club president and senior, Big Game will be attending the girls’ Sectional basketball game on Feb. 8. The game, he said, is scheduled to be a “blue-out”. Big Game is also attending the boys’ basketball game at Hamilton Southeastern on Feb. 9, which will be a “black-out”.
“We have a student body that creates a fan base for sports,” club sponsor Dale Herr said. “We’d love to see it distributed through the sports.”
Herr said he has been encouraging the club to reach out to less-attended sports.
“By far, football is the biggest,” Herr said. “And in winter it is boys’ basketball. I’d love to see them get out to different venues.”
