The members of Carmel High School’s yearbook, the Pinnacle, recently had their Yerdentines Day, but they are now working towards the Feb. 28 deadline, with a built in work night on Feb. 20 to discuss supplement ideas. Sophomore Joie Li said that the work night is important for deadline meeting.
According to Pinnacle adviser Nicole Wilson, the staff is now starting to plan its distribution schedule and extension ideas, along with preparing for its upcoming deadline. The supplement is an extension of the yearbook that covers the last few weeks of school that don’t make it into larger portion of the book. Their work night on Feb. 20 will serve to lighten their load.
“We use the supplement to cover… events such as spring sports and prom. I’m on the prom spread this year and I’m pretty excited for it because that means I get to crash prom as a sophomore,” Li said.
