Last Friday, the Comedy Sportz team held their first home match. Sponsor Jim Peterson said the outcome of the match was very close.
“For our first home match of the year, we won by one point against a very talented team from Fishers High School. The score was 20-19,” said Peterson.
The team also had a match on Feb. 11th during SRT to support Dance Marathon, raising over $800 for the children at Riley’s Children’s Hospital.
Bill Pfohl, Comedy Sportz member and junior, said both matches were awesome.
“It was the first time we ever had an SRT match. It was great and was for a good cause. We won our home match so I was very happy about the outcome. It couldn’t have been better,” said Pfohl.
Peterson said the next home match will be against Bishop Chatard High School on March 8th in the Studio Theater at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are already on sale at www.totalgatesolutions.com
