Wild Bunch is looking for new sports captains, according to Victoria “Tori” Singleton, Wild Bunch president and senior. Singleton chooses each captain from Wild Bunch club members who volunteer. Singleton assigns the captains to go to the games and cheer on the players because she is not able to attend them all.

“I went to every football game and try to attend all the basketball games but it is competition season for ambassadors right now and we had spec and what not so it’s been much harder to go to the basketball games,” Singleton said.

Singleton was the captain for Football and is now the basketball captain instead of former club member Natalie Fine, who graduated early. Other captains include; seniors Aryn Richey for hockey and baseball, Ashley Smaltz for men’s soccer and Shanaan Shoffner  for men’s swimming and diving and rugby.

“One thing I like about being a captain of Wild Bunch is that I can kind of ask my friends what they think is best and enforce it…I don’t have to do it all by myself,” Richey said.
