According to Kenny Lin, club officer and junior, Hip Hop Club will have an exhibition battle on May 20. Hip Hop Club meets every Tuesday after school until 4:30 p.m. in the main lobby near the Dale E. Graham Auditorium.

“The whole crew is stoked to see how much our club members have progressed this year and to tie loose ends regarding battles and rivalries,” Lin said.
Sponsor Lacey Grabek said battles are one way to motivate and invigorate the club.
“The purpose of battles is to challenge each other and force one another to dance to their full potential,” Grabek said. “It gets the members excited and really does help motivate them to try their hardest as they are on display in front of everyone.”
Lin said for next year, he hopes to have more consistent meetings and to upgrade club structure.
