The men’s tennis team manages to keep its streak undefeated after defeating Park Tudor 4-1. Head Coach Mike Bostic said the team played well against Park Tudor.

“I thought we played with a lot of energy and passion tonight. The guys really rose to the occasion and played some of their best tennis of the year,” Bostic said via email. The team continues to prepare for the match against Floyd Central on Sept. 14 at Zionsville High School.

Kushal Shah, tennis player and senior, said the team played “awesome” against Park Tudor. “Our team really stuck together the whole time and had each other’s backs,” Shah said.

Shah said that they have a really strong team. “We need to stick together and always be cheering during the match and remain focused and we should be able to beat them.”Both Shah and Bostic said that the team can keep the momentum going. “I expect us to keep the momentum going because we are Carmel Tennis and we have a lot of pride in our program. There will be ups and downs in a season, but the goal is continuous improvement and peaking at the right time,” Bostic said. “Our best tennis is still in front of us.
