According to Assistant Principal Joseph Schaller, Wi-Fi extenders have been implemented over fall break. However, the e-room computer labs are still undergoing renovation that involves switching the desktop computers to laptops.
“Making teachers and students go to the computer lab is sometimes inconvenient,” Schaller said. “We’re trying to make space for classrooms next year.”
Sophomore Sam Philleo completes an assignment in computer lab E215. Rooms E215 and E118 are the computer labs that will switch out their computers for laptops.
Currently, E215 and E118 are scheduled to switch out the computers with the COWs (computers on wheels). However, the labs will be converted into classrooms during the summer for next school year.
According to sophomore Sam Philleo, going to and from computer labs can be a hassle. “It takes a long time for our class to get to the lab; it will be much easier if we just bring in laptops.” he said.
