The DECA Spirit Shop Web site opened earlier this year and is currently being revised in order to fix any current problems and to add more merchandise. The Web site can be accessed at www.chsspiritshop.com.

The site currently features a senior girls’ shirt exclusively until Sept. 11 for $17. The shirt will be available for pick up at the Spirit Shop starting on Sept. 28.

Alex Minnig, marketing student and senior, said the students have currently been working on making the Web site run more smoothly.

“We got it up and running and now we’re just working out some kinks in the Web site,” Minnig said.

According to Janice Brown, DECA sponsor and business teacher, the Web site is a convenient and flexible way for students to access the store.

“The Web site and store are both run by the DECA students,” Brown said.

Minnig also said the actual Spirit Shop is run by DECA students before school from 7:15 to 7:45 and during SRT. In order to be a DECA member, students must enroll in business classes or fashion merchandise classes.
