The Living History Club is no longer meeting this year. Jerry Brickley, the former teacher sponsor of the club, said this was mostly due to declining interest in the club.
The club initially had 20 members on the list, but attendance began dwindling, with only two students showing up for the meetings at times. Brickley also said that he saw little chance for a revival of the club.
Last year, the Living History Club met every other Wednesday. During meetings, the participants discussed history and sometimes even reenacted certain historical events.
Although the group no longer meets, Brickley said, “If any student has a question about living history, they can still come to me”.
