The video announcements, which air every Gold Day during SRT, have been going on for several weeks and according to CHTV teacher Hal Espey, they are doing very well.

“I mean, you’re always going to have some technical difficulties and mix-ups, but so far I think we’ve done very well,” he said.

Sports Edge reporter Nolan Blair said he also thinks the announcements are going well. “Mr. Espey’s very happy with our performance. He tells us he gets complements about our work,” he said. 

“A typical video announcements morning is very busy. It can seem like a lot at once, and I think the kids are doing great,” Espey said. 

According to Espey, in the future there are going to be new shows, such as a monthly show with Principal John Williams.

“In this show we’re going to talk about some of the things that generally don’t get enough attention sometimes. Sports and performing arts get a lot of coverage, so in this show we’d probably be talking about the more academic aspects of this school,” Espey said. By Kendall Harshberger <[email protected]>
