Soles for Souls, a program where donated shoes are collected and given to people in need around the world, is currently the only international project Rotary Interact Club members have started working on, according to sponsor Brenda Lester.
President and junior Sarah Yun said, “Right now, this semester is for international projects. We currently have five projects we’re thinking of. A couple of them are in Vietnam, Africa, Bangladesh.” She said that although members have thought of certain international projects, they are still not sure of specifics.
Yun also said members are thinking of ideas for fundraising. “We’re going to raise money for all our international projects, but we just don’t know what exactly we’re going to do. We’ll probably do a bake sale or something.” By Susie Chen <[email protected]>
