With the season well under way, the varsity men’s basketball cheerleading squad will hit the court again with an away game at Ben Davis on Jan. 30 at 7:30 p.m.
The squad continues to inspire team spirit throughout the entire season. And although fall cheerleaders compete in tournaments in addition to cheering at football games, winter cheerleaders concentrate on basketball games only.
According to Head Coach Caitlin Potvin, the varsity squad performs at both home and away games to help get the crowd involved. The team continues to focus on its two goals: raising school spirit for the basketball program and improving its own skills and teamwork. By Maggie Brandenburg <[email protected]>
