Senior girls’ spirit club extends first semester ideas and trends

According to Christina Gabany, Wild Bunch member and senior, most of the club’s second semester events will follow the format of the first semester.

“I think it’s a continuation of what went on first semester,” Gabany said.

According to Gabany, Wild Bunch, a senior girls’ spirit club at this school, strives to attend at least one athletic event for each sport during the year to show its support for the athletes.

According to Madison Brake, Wild Bunch co-president and senior, there are two to three committee heads assigned to each season to help plan events and get the word out about upcoming outings for Wild Bunch. The winter committee heads for Wild Bunch are seniors Alexandra Chandler and Lexi Compton.

Wild Bunch sponsor Amy Skeens-Benton said  all questions relating to Wild Bunch should be diverted to co-presidents Brake or Deanna Daly or the winter committee heads.

Gabany sees the benefits of being involved in Wild Bunch. “I just thought it would be another good way to be part of something,” she said. “It gives me incentive to go to sporting events.” By Lauren Burdick <[email protected]>
