“We’ll be playing a game and having special events to celebrate October and Halloween,” Carolyn Keller, president of the club and senior, said.
Club members will also discuss the upcoming annual Halloween hayride which will take place Oct. 11 at Stony Creek Farm. Permission slips will be handed out at the meeting and should be turned back in before the day of the hayride.
“We’ll be taking a bus over there and having a cookout for hotdogs and roasting marshmallows,” Rising Stars sponsor Jim Peterson said.
The theme of this upcoming meeting is “dress like your favorite dead person.” More information on Rising Stars or about upcoming events is available on the club’s Facebook page.
