Rising Stars club will have its next meeting on April 17 after school in the Studio Theater room.
According to Amanda Warnock, Junior Class representative, the meeting was postponed because of spring break.
The meeting will mostly focus on officer elections.
According to Jim Peterson, sponsor of Rising Stars, club members are eligible to run as representatives for their grade level or as secretary, treasurer, vice president or president. Those running will make a speech to persuade the votes. They themselves will also have the chance to vote for members of other positions.
The club officer positions will be for the 2014-15 school year so it is not yet an option to run for freshman representative, as only a member from the incoming freshmen class can run for that.
As usual, there will also be prizes and games at the meeting with the purpose of improving acting skills.
