To harness your own “gypsy queen” style, hear what Lexi has to say on her personal fashion, inspiration and outfit tricks.
How do you define your style?
I define my style as creative, bohemian and trendy because I like to follow trends.
Where do you find your inspiration?
I find my inspiration on the Free People blog, my friends and celebrities like Vanessa Hudgens. She’s a babe. I also like Natalie Bergman and Erin Wasson. Celebrities are good to find inspiration from because they wear the first trends and then people can follow them. You can see what they’re wearing and then mix it up and put it in your own way of wearing, which is what I like to do. You just get good ideas from them.
What are some of your favorite stores or designers?
Some of my favorite stores are Free People, H&M, Zara and Topshop. Mara Hoffman is my absolute, favorite designer ever. I like her designs because they stand out from all other designers because of the geometric prints and I really like that.
What is your best style tip?
My best style tip is to add as much jewelry as possible because I feel like jewelry is the best thing to make your outfit complete. Over-accessorizing also is great.
How has your style changed through the years?
I’ve always liked to shop and follow the trends and I still like to follow the trends but as I got older, I got a better idea of where I wanted to follow those trends with my own style, a bohemian style.
What does style mean to you?
Style means expressing who you are and your individuality. I feel like everyone should have their own sense of style because they’re their own person and I believe that everybody is different and is able to create their own unique style that is only theirs. Along with that, by everybody showing who they are through their style, a ton of other people will accept them and can get trends from them for their own style.
