Teens for life will be attending its annual event, March for Life, from Jan. 22 to 24 in Washington D.C.
“This march is very powerful. It shows how many people are fighting for life, and it is just so inspirational to see everyone supporting the same cause.” said Sophia Tragresser, sophomore and co-sponsor.
Interested students will meet in a designated area on Jan. 21. The specific area is undecided for now but a future meeting will reveal it. From there, all members will board a bus and drive to Washington D.C.
The total cost is also undetermined, but it is projected to be around $150 dollars. It is also recommended to bring some cash for gifts or snacks for the ride home. According to sponsor Jon Kane, financial aid will be provided as well; just contact any member or adult associated with Teens for Life.
According to Tragresser, people from all around the world will march and protest for life. There will also be a variety of speeches and tourist attractions that will be included in the trip.
“I am proud of all my students for standing up to share the message of life.” Kane said.
