AVID is scheduled to have a movie night on Dec. 1 in order to help the members to relax before the upcoming finals testing in December. AVID senior leader Meredith Missler said members are requested to donate sleeping bags and snacks. AVID site coordinator Shannon Woodson also affirmed that the event is undergoing preparations as of Nov. 13.
“Students are pretty excited by it,” Woodson said. “It also promotes our goal of improving student relations across grade levels.”
Missler said she hopes the event will bring the members of AVID closer together.
“We thought it would be a great way to connect with the underclassmen and bring everyone in AVID together,” she said.
