Sloan Goldblatt, Champions Together (CT) member and senior, has been nominated for the I AM SPORT award, which is sponsored by the Indianapolis Star.

Co-president and sophomore Audra Marchese said, “The I AM SPORT award is for students that have given back to the children of their community.”

If he wins, the award will be presented at their annual awards banquet, according to Bruce Wolf, co-sponsor and assistant athletic director, via email. Anyone can vote once per day through March 5, 2019.

Before the vote closes, CT will host the annual Polar Plunge on March 2. Wolf said it is one of their major fundraising efforts.

“It is also lots of fun and full of great photo opportunities,” Wolf said. “We are hopeful that most all of our committee can participate this year—and others can participate as well.”

Other March events include Mr. Carmel on March 8 and the unified bowling clinic the day after.

This Friday, applications to be a Unified Track partner are due, and CT will host their next meeting during first session of SRT in the community room. By Angela Qian
