Design for CHS has begun to wrap up their preparation for the Street Store as the date of the event approaches. According to club sponsor Laura Moore, the Street Store is scheduled for March 16 in downtown Indianapolis.
“We’ve officially stopped collecting clothes from schools,” said junior Hannah Na. “We’re almost done sorting through all the clothes and organizing them into boxes.”
In addition to the Street Store, Design for CHS has also begun to reach out to children and family centers for their new project making blankets for those in need. According to Na, members hope to begin the blanket-making process in one or two months.
Design for CHS has continued the Hands on Education project with IPS schools and it has been progressing well.
“We’ve been doing more new experiments with the kids, which they really enjoy.”
