Sophomore Class officers plan to meet to discuss next semester’s events, according to Sophomore Class president Lauren Fogel. The class officers have not met since right after Homecoming due to the lack of winter activities.
“There aren’t many events now that winter is starting for us to participate in, so we haven’t gotten together for a while now. Plus, we want the rest of the grade to be able to focus on schoolwork, so we’ve been doing that to set an example,” Fogel said.
According to Sophomore Class sponsor Jennifer Williams, the Class officers have nothing planned for the rest of the semester.
“We have nothing going on right now, or scheduled for the upcoming weeks,” Williams said via e-mail.
However, Fogel said that she looks forward to the next semester and the new activities the Sophomore Class wants to plan.
She said, “Hopefully when (the Sophomore Class officers) get together, we’ll put our heads together and plan some great stuff.”
