The next meeting for the Rising Stars Club will be after school on Thursday, March 1. Club members will have the chance to nominate and vote for next year’s new president, vice president and secretary.
“(The club is not voting for) the people for representative at large and freshman representative because we don’t know who they are yet,” Monica Ramirez, president of the club and senior, said.
“We’re getting ready for next year,” Rising Stars sponsor Jim Peterson said.
Questions about the upcoming Les Miserables theater production and the Ambassadors choir concert will be discussed at the meeting. Also, information on the Comedy Sports performance next week and practice dates will be provided.
Saint Patrick’s Day will be the theme of this meeting.
