The College and Career Resource Center (CCRC) will conduct its annual college information session for juniors during SRT on March 4 and 12. CCRC counselor Linda Christy and assistant Harry Pettibone will conduct the presentation. All juniors are required to attend the event.
According to Christy, the session will cover topics including college visits, college applications, college essays, standardized tests and important dates. While last year’s CISJ focused on statistics about college, Christy said this year’s presentation will focus more on the preparation process.
“(The people who presented the CISJ last year) did a lot of stats about IU and Purdue and IUPUI and Ball State and all that,” Christy said. “(This year), we’re going to inform you about colleges but we want to get you ready for that process (of applying to colleges), so we’re going to give you more information to help you prepare for college and not just throw data at you about all the colleges.”
