On Oct. 27 from 1 to 6 p.m., Ambassadors will host a cabaret at the Ritz Charles, according to choral director Lamonte Kuskye. During the Ambassadors’ performance, there will be a silent auction. Kuskye said all proceeds will go to the Ambassadors Club to help fund the choir’s trip to Europe during spring break.

Andrew Kathan, Ambassadors member and senior, said there will be a variety of acts. Besides the choir, there will be acapella groups and individual solo acts. In addition to preparing for the cabaret, he said all choirs have begun preparation for Holiday Spec.

“I expect (the cabaret) to be super fun. I was part of it last year, and it was a lot of fun then. It’s really cool because although we are hosting it, we are free to walk around and look at all the items,” Kathan said.
